Hi Boy has long been known as a
hometown sponsor in local sports. They have sponsored many
successful baseball, softball, soccer and basketball teams since
the mid 1960's as well as being big supporters in high school
activities at both Truman and William Chrisman High Schools in
Independence.
The most recent success took
place in the Summer of 2004 when the Hi Boy Kiwanis Team reached the
World Series held in Michigan.
The Hi Boy Drive
In/Post 340 Team is always a top contender in American Legion
baseball and they added some fame a few years back when St. Louis
Cardinals' All Star Albert Pujols played for the team when he was a
student at Fort Osage High School in Independence. To read more about Pujols' start with Hi

support of the community, please check back in the Spring for a
current schedule for our ball teams so that you can help cheer on
and support our Hi Boy teams!
