Hi Boy Drive-In is a family owned and operated fast food restaurant located in Independence, Missouri.
The first HiBoy Drive-In location appeared in 1957 just off Blue Ridge Cut-Off in Independence, MO.
For those of you that are not familiar with our area of the country, we are a suburb adjoining Kansas City, MO, on the east side. Interstate 70 runs east and west through Independence, just east of both the Kansas City Chiefs Arrowhead and Kansas City Royals Kauffman Stadiums.
Thanks to our loyal local customer base and the new folks we have the pleasure to meet each day, HiBoy continues to be a hometown favorite since the late 1950's.
Not only are our Burgers and Ice Cream Kansas City area favorites, our Onion Rings have been voted
'THE BEST ONION RINGS IN KANSAS CITY'
for several years.
HiBoy has long been known as a hometown supporter of local sports. HiBoy has sponsored many successful baseball, softball, soccer and basketball teams since the mid 1960's, as well as supporting high school activities at both Truman High
One noteable success story took place in the Summer of 2004 when the HiBoy Kiwanis Baseball Team reached the World Series held in Michigan.

The Hi Boy Drive In/Post 340 Team is consistently a top contender in American Legion baseball. They added some fame a few years back when St. Louis Cardinals' All Star Albert Pujols played for the team while he was a student at Fort Osage High School in Independence, MO.
Our teams would not be successful without the enduring support of the community, for that we thank each of you. Please check back here in the Spring for a current schedule for our ball teams.
